Wow, It's Been a Long Time!

Hi folks,
Just thought I'd update you on a few things!

First, I officially graduated high school on June 11! The ceremony was really quite nice, and just howI wanted it. I want to thank everyone who helped me to this point, be it teachers, my parents or friends. All I can say is THANK YOU!

I have replaced my math blog with one solely for posting my writing! You don't know how good that feels!

I Must Be a Bad Blogger!

Hi folks,

I don't have a working title, so if anyone reads this, please sugest one to me!

Chapter 1

Laura Michelle Kelly walked through the Theater Royal, Drewry lane lost in thoughts of the upcoming production of a new musical she would be in and her recent divorce from a choreographer. It still hurt even though it had been nearly a year. She was on her way to the first rehearsal after call backs and was thoroughly looking forward to it. She just hoped she could find the right room. There was a huge sign stating "Cast of Lord of the Rings" with an arrow pointing to a light and airy room brimming with activity. She slipped in behind a black haired man who was talking with another man with dark hair who looked older. Laura sat down nervously next to a youngish woman. She had black hair and she gave Laura a soft smile. An Indian man came up to the front of the room and got everyone's attention. "Let's get started!" he said with a jovial expression on his countenance. "Let’s go around the room and introduce ourselves! Make sure to say who you are playing!" The dark haired man started. "Hi, I'm Michael Rouse and I play Legolas." Laura was surprised at that. Didn't Legolas have blond hair? Her musings were cut off by the next person. "Hello all, I am Michael Therriault. I play Gollum." Laura had always felt sorry for Gollum's character and hoped he could do him justice. The other older dark haired man went next. "Hello, my name is Jeróme Praden and I play Strider AKA Aragorn." Laura gave him a small smile, she'd always liked Aragorn's character. Suddenly the girl beside her spoke in an even tone. "Hi I'm Rosalie Craig, I play Arwen." Then, finally it was Laura's turn. "Hi, I'm Laura Michelle Kelly and I play Galadriel, Queen of the forest." The four men who played the hobbits went in quick succession. After that Malcolm Storry who played Gandalf introduced himself. After everyone had introduced themselves, A.R. Rahmin stood back up and the general hubbub of voices died down. "Now," he said, the jovial air still ever-present. "We will do a read-through of Act I with no songs. I repeat no songs!"

In other news, I am preparing for graduation. It's pretty exciting but also scary because I don't know what'll happen next!
The spring concert is tonight. I'm not in it, otherwise I'd post the link for watching!

Once Again, I Fail at Updates!

Hi all!

It's been since January since I updated, so I figured I'd update!
Loads of stuff has happened since I last updated. I'll cover just a few of those here!

I *Might* be going to Wrockstock in Patosi, MO this November! I'm making an efort to find roomates and someone to fly with out of Portland and I am going to buy my pass as soon as I have a room figured out!

Wow, It's Been So Long Since I've Updated!

Hi!
I cannot believe that it's taken me so long to update this thing!
So much has happened in these past three months I don't quite know what to touch upon.
Aubree is leaving! Yes you read that right. She will be sorly missed by all, including me. It's actually her last day today before she goes back to public school.
There is also a swim meat tonight which I may or may not watch. It depends if I have to or not...
In other news, I'm reading real books again, Vampire Academy to be exact!
I'm on the first of four and it's pretty good so far. I hope this will take my mind off my impending graduation and subsequent move to the LIFTT program in the fall.
I guess that's about it for now.

It's Friday, Thank God!

I'm really happy because it's Friday!

This weekend, I'm going to a tur-duc-hen party at my friend Aria's house. I used to go to school with her so I'm looking forward to seeing her!

Our story is over 14000 words, woohoo! It's coming along nicely and I will have the next chapter up today or tomorrow!

wow, It's been awhile!

Hi all!
Like the subject suggests, it's been quite awhile since I last posted. In that time, I went to four parties, tried and failed to write a novel, worked on our story, went to school and decided to rekindle my Les Miserables project. Quite a lot of stuff happened to me in a fairly short time!
I think that pretty much sums it up actually. We're over 12,000 words now with 3 reviews and 4 alerts! That makes me happy! Can you guess what else would make me happy? If people from facebook/ffn actually read this! I'd appreciate at least a comment or something that says you've read this! I want to get more followers too!
So, sorry for rambling on that subject!
I'll hopefully post more this week and keep you informed on the happenings of Abby!

It's Almost Halloween!

Hi all!
Guess what? It's almost Halloween and I actually have a costume! I'll be going as an elf maiden from Mirkwood, Legolas' homeland, yay!
One of the cottage parents, Sandy has sewn my tunic and Pat Phillips is going to dye it green. Aubree gave me a long green cloak to borrow and I have a blonde wig! I'm so excited for this!
I will maybe post pictures on facebook so everyone can see it!

I can't wait for Wednesday night and it's not just because of my awesome costume!Student Council is hosting a Halloween party in Chapman! It features the "Hall of Horrors" and plenty of food/candy! I cant wait!

On Thursday, we're also having a Harvest Dance in Fries Auditorium which also should be fun!

PotC is Awesome!

Hi all,

Today I have a few things to write about. I'm sorry I haven't posted lately, I just didn't have time.

Last night, Aubree and I watched another movie, yay movies! What movie, you ask? Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl, that's what! OK, OK, I admited it, I've never seen any of those movies. I think it was because I'm not into pirates, but the kissing at the end was totally worth it! Gotta have a little romance, right?

I have another thing I am thinking about, the lack of readers for this thing. I mean, It's my website for my ffn and facebook pages! Why do I on,ly have three followers then? I hope more people read and comment on this because if they don't, then how do I know who's reading? It makes me sad!

Another thing is that our story is over 10000 words and that is cause for celebration! Woohoo!I should have some more up in the coming days! I hope people review, cause we've only gotten 1 review and 2 alerts!

Wow I'm Posting Lots This Week!

Hi all,

I've been posting more than I normally do, yay! I really don't have a lot to report except I love Celtic music! I'm right now listening to "South By Sail" by A Celtic Tale. It's a very beautiful song that I'd highly recommend!

I haven't really been working on much in the story department. Hopefully I will have some more up soon!

I can Finally Post Again!

Hi all,

Internet wasn't working so I couldn't post yesterday. If I had, you would've heard about how I got four hours of sleep, how I think I am getting sick and how my laptop didn't work.

Turns out the laptop works when the power cord is attached and doesn't even turn on otherwise. I need to track down Sheri Hahn and see if she can fix it!

I've also been working on a side story about the LOTR musical cast. It's sort of going well but my muse is dormant at the moment.

I've been reading Eldest by Christopher Paolini and am enjoying it immensely! I am on page 201 in Braill and plan on reading more soon!

I can't say that for our story though at this time. I still have to edit chapters and get more from Aubree. Will keep you informed!

That's about it I think. Now nobody will have an excuse to comment three times asking where I am!

It's Almost the Weekend!

Hi

Last night Aubree and I watched the whole Prince Caspian movie, since I hadn't seen it and she said I should. It wasn't the best movie ever but Caspian was hot, especially his voice!

OK, I am a bad person. I haven't posted any of our story for two reasons.

1. We're adding an extra chapter that Aubree hasn't sent me yet.
2. I still have to edit chapters 9 and 10 before I post.

OK, so at least I have chapter 9 almost edited. Maybe I'm not such a bad person after all!

I finally can post again!

Hi all,

Yesterday, I couldn't post because the internet was down so sorry about that!
Last night, we did readers theater and we got all the way through our play, "The Trial of Socrates" It was very fun! Everyone did very well considering we didn't practice at all! Well, I at least llooked it over yesterday morning!

I also got to take numerous pics of me for a French powerpoint which was really entertaining! Especially when Mr. Tracy the maintenance guy got to be a tandem bike captain in one of them!

Our story is going well, I'm going to post some more in the coming days!

I'm so Sorry!

Hi all,

I'm so sorry I haven't updated in forever! It's just that we haven't done blogs for awhile and I've been doing other things.


Yesterday, there was a Student VS Staff Golball game which the students won! It was pretty boring, especially since Aubree couldn't tell who was playing half the time because of where we sat.

Last night, I had a sing-LOTR-the-musical marathon with Aubree and Sara! We kept getting interrupted, but we managed to get through the entire recording! Our best songs were the solos and Lothlorien! It was fun!!!!!

Speaking of Sara, she's leaving because she got her diploma! I'm happy for her and I hope she goes on to major in something cool!

I still haven't googled the reason why the 8sinks song is always sent out with the BrailleNotes but I'll get around to it!

it's Tuesday and I'm just sitting here!

Hi all,
I must be iether very bored or must have too much time on my hands or both because I love thinking up entertaining subject lines! OK OK, I'm done.

Yesterday, Jacki told me about the famous BrailleNote file called 8sinks. It's this Scottish drinking song and is freaking hillarious! I will play it for some people this weekend, you know who you are!

Last night, I did Reader's Theater with Ms. Corso who is mine andd Aubree's French teacher. We had four plays to chose from. The first three Aubree and I weren't impressed with simply because they are desinged forr younger readers and last time I checked, I am an older reader thank you very much!

The fourth play, however, was about the trial of Socrates which is the one we all voted on. I can't wait because I want to be Anthipe!

I'm too Lazy to think of a Subject Line!

Hi all,
I officially have 3 followers and two friends on here! Thanks everyone who take an interest in my blog!

This morning was wierd because Valdine woke everyone up an hour early and didn't make us breakfast. We also noticed she was slurring her words and that she didn't sound like her usual self. Jacki thought she was playing a rather elaborate joke until she made one of the other girls, Katie go a half hour early to school. So Ms. Bonnie C. who I work with in the coffee shop and who comes to the cottage in the morning called an ambulance and the parimetics took Valdine to the hospital. The Chapman girls had aquick meeting with DR. Stenehjem about it. So when I say my morning started off with a bang, you know why.

So that's about all the excitement for one post, don't you think? The only other thing I have to say is that the FOTR Prologue, "Concerning Hobbits and Other Such Matters" is the longest prologue I've ever read!

Weekend, Here I Come!

Hi all,
You guessed, it is the weekend and I'm very happy to go home.

On the weekend of Oct. 30, Aubree is coming home with me for a wrock concert hosted by HPANW, featuring the Whomping Willows and some great food cooked by fellow HP fans! Should be fun!

We also got two of our stories planned and decided to do a series with our first story, Captured Hearts called the Children of Myth series. It will have three books and will feature a slew of characters from IC, LOTR and of course, WSSB! Should be loads of fun to write! More updates to come soon!

Weekend, Yay!

Hi all,
The weekend is upon us! Sorry, been reading a little too much LOTR fanfiction!
I have picked my topic for my senior paper:
The History of Audio Production and how to produce a CD
I am pretty excited about this because it's about something I love to do.
I'm also doing a GOALS assignment on advocacy which involves researching my various conditions. That should prove to be at least somewhat interesting...
I am enjoying hanging out with Sara and Jacki. It's been fun because Sara is a major theater freak like me and Jacki is just plain funny and cool to talk to!
I can't wait for Aubree to come back on Sunday because she is going to flip when I tell her what music I've downloaded.

First Week News!

Hi all,
Just wanted to update you on the happenings of my first week at WSSB!
I've been slowly getting into the swing of things. Here are the highlights of my schedule:
I work at the cofee shop, so therefor my parents have been calling me "Abby the Barista" Not that it's annoying, but I just think it's a little stupid.
I have GOALS with Ms. Langley which is, as far as I can tell, going to be at least entertaining...
I also have math with "Teacher in a box" as Tyler has dubbed our new teacher Ms. Lowell.
In other news, Sara Cadwell from YES II is at school this year and I am making it my goal to make her feel welcome. It might be futile since she is homesick quite a lot, but I'm at least trying. That's all I can really do anyway.
Aubree is supposedly coming next week and I'm very eager to continue on our story!
I don't have anything else to report I'm afraid other than I'm finally reading the LOTR books! More on that later.
